As an essential business, Hiway has remained open through the COVID-19 pandemic, serving our members through various channels (and we are so grateful for your loyalty). In recent weeks, we’ve seen a spike in COVID-19 cases in Minnesota and many neighboring states. With the increase in cases, we have had more associates having to quarantine which is having an impact on our operations. We believe it’s important we do what we can to help contain the spread of the virus.  In order to protect our members and associates, we will be adjusting how we serve you.

Beginning on Monday, November 23, we will be closing our lobbies to walk-in traffic. Our drive-thru services will continue normal operations, and we will begin offering limited appointment-only services—should an in-person meeting be essential—in our branch lobbies.

Your health and safety is our top priority
The following guidelines are in place to keep everyone safe. Prior to arriving for your scheduled appointment, please be aware of the following:

  • You’ll be expected to wait in your vehicle until your appointment time.
  • We may ask health screening questions in advance of allowing you inside.
  • Please wear a mask at all times while in our branches.
  • Plexiglass dividers will be in use and you will notice our member-contact associates wearing masks and/or gloves.
  • Please follow the directions on signage to ensure safe social distancing.
  • If possible, please limit the number of people in your party to those required to complete your transaction.
