As an essential business, Hiway has remained open through the COVID-19 pandemic, serving you via our drive-thrus and remote channels. Yesterday, Gov. Tim Walz announced that some of Minnesota’s non-essential businesses may open on Monday, with adherence to “slow the spread” best practices.

In alignment with our state’s health and safety guidelines, Hiway is set to begin reintroducing additional services. Starting Monday, May 18, we will begin appointment-only services in our branch lobbies, with a plan in place to reopen for capacity-controlled walk-in traffic in early June.

For all other appointments—please give us a call!
To ensure that an associate is available to meet with you and reduce your wait time, we ask that you please call us at 651.291.1515 or 800.899.5626. One of our associates will be glad to assist you – we may be able to help you over the phone, to avoid a trip to the branch. If an appointment is necessary, we’ll take care of the scheduling for you. (Please note that for now, we are limiting lobby appointment hours to Monday – Friday, though our drive-thrus will remain open on Saturdays.)

Your health and safety is our top priority
The following guidelines are in place to keep everyone safe. Prior to arriving for your scheduled appointment, please be aware of the following:

  • You’ll be expected to wait in your vehicle until your appointment time.
  • We may ask health screening questions in advance of allowing you inside.
  • We request you wear a mask at all times while in our branches.
  • Plexiglass dividers will be in use at desks and at the teller line, and you will notice our member-contact associates wearing masks and/or gloves.
  • Please follow the directions on signage to ensure safe social distancing.
  • If possible, please limit the number of people in your party to those required to complete your transaction.

Many of our members have utilized our mobile solutions, including online and mobile banking and mobile deposit to meet their financial needs. If you just need cash, check out our network of over 60,000 ATMs—some even take deposits! These convenient and easy to use options are available to all our members.
