Leading public health experts agree that wearing a mask is one important step in limiting the spread of COVID-19, and many businesses, municipalities and entire states across the nation are already adhering to this important recommendation and making it a policy. Wearing a cloth face covering primarily helps to protect people around you, including our essential workers, the elderly, and those with higher-risk health conditions.
Beginning on Monday, July 20, we are moving from a policy of masks recommended to masks required for anyone entering our branch offices. Please bring your own mask; should you forget your mask, we may have masks available for you.
We understand there are differing opinions on COVID-19 and on the use of face coverings. However, we recognize the role we can play to help protect the health and well-being of the communities we serve by following the guidance from the CDC, and we will continue to do so as we learn more about COVID-19 prevention best practices. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our members in following our new policy to protect everyone’s safety.
